Mutton Bustin' at the Puyallup Fair!!

Went to check out this mutton bustin thing, and Tanner was ALL over it! He was the 1st one to ride at 5:30! Stood up there in front of the whole crowd of people who came to watch....hand on his heart all proud...while the National Anthem was being sang. Then he was off!! His words were "I've never held on that tight to anything in my life...that was a pretty fat sheep...man...that sure was FUN!!" So cute to watch!! They had to be 6 or under and under 60 lbs. Tanner just barely made it at 58 lbs...and of course he's 6 years old!! So nice...cuz there were a few rides that he couldn't go on because of the height requirements...so he liked these guidelines!! There was a belt buckle for the one who could stay on for 6 seconds, and he really wanted that buckle! He rode for 3.2 seconds....and was quite happy with his ribbon. A little girl won with 5.2 seconds....he says "she had a skinnier sheep to hold on too" lol...not competitive at all...that kid!! This was our favorite part of the fair...something new, and a hillarious thing to watch these little kids hang on for dear life!! Course we did the dizzy pass thing so they could get their fill of rides...long lines everywhere, but we seemed to ride enough. Late night for all.....this morning was tough to get up for school, but worth it all!! Tanner had to wear his shirt to school to show his class. Jaycee was gettin' into the bigger rides this year...little daredevil. She says....next year I'm going to try the Extreme Scream!! The ultimate ride!! All in all a pretty fun day at the fair!!
