How this 6 year old boy can know SO much about the Washington Huskies is beyond me!! A month or 2 ago...he HAD to have a Huskies t-shirt, hat and sweatshirt...(which were all bought at different times I might add!) So then he finds out that Trina's husband Wade watches the games, and has to call to find out the time, date and channel. Tells me "got it all handled Mom,..channel 30 at 7:00...we're So watchin' it!"

He had me set an alarm to remind us to turn on the TV...and he was there...hat, sweatshirt and all with his PJ's on!! He was pretty intent on the plays and learning as much about football as his Mother could teach him....haha. He could not figure out why the guys would kick the ball for a field goal instead of running the ball for a touchdown....so we had to chat all the way through!! He made it a good hour...then got a little side tracked with homemade popcorn....then he fell asleep the 3rd quarter. Too bad they lost 44-31...fun to see him so excited though...he was literally bouncing off the walls waiting for this game to start!!! Brought back the football watching day memories of when Kev and I were dating...fun lazy Sunday afternoons together!!

Tanner...you are such a sports NUT!! I love it!! Soccer practices just started..games will begin in October..then we just got the forms for Jr. Viks Wrestling..this one looks like a little time consuming..but will probably end up giving it a try..they work with the former wrestlers at the High School and the coach, and the money goes towards the High School wrestling program...will have to see if we are over comitting US and this busy little Tanner Boy who can't miss a beat!!
